In addition to teaching, I am an active performer as my schedule allows.
Piano Accompaniment/Collaboration and Rehearsal Pianist I began accompanying at age 14 for my friends in band and was later the high school choir accompanist.
I have performed with students, ensembles, choirs, theatre productions, and/or faculty musicians/professionals at the following schools and events as a hired accompanist or staff accompanist: Texas U.I.L Competitions, University of North Texas, Texas A & M-Kingsville, Arkansas State University, University of West Florida and Solo and Ensemble. I am predominately an Instrumental Accompanist, an excellent sight-reader, and musically sensitive to the needs of the performer.
Church Pianist I began playing at church with my first offertory at age 9 at the First Baptist Church-Garland, TX. Currently, I am primary pianist at Olive Baptist Church where I am the rehearsal pianist for the choir, accompanist for soloists, ensembles, productions and pianist for the 9:30 Service (Usually!) This service is broadcasted on WEGS 91.7 and Live Streamed every Sunday morning at 9:30. I have also served as church pianist for First United Methodist Church-Jonesboro, AR and First Christian Church-Kingsville, TX.
